Cassandra Fox

Cassandra fox is a multi award winning Professional Belly Dancer from Coldwater. Ontario. She began bellydancing in 2008 while studying nutritional and neutraceutical sciences at the University of Guelph, and eventually merged her love of bellydance with her Jamaican heritage to develop her Caribbean fusion style, which blends Caribbean music and movement with bellydance. Beyond her Caribbean fusion, Cassandra is also known for her strong presence, powerful technique and animated style of bellydance. Best known for her drum solos, her most viewed drum solo has over 121 million views on facebook. She has taught and performed throughout Canada, the US and Europe. When not dancing Cassandra enjoys tea, cats, crocheting, sewing, fabric hoarding and her boyfriend too.


Celebrating Dance is an annual dance festival held each October at the Toorak Hotel in Torquay, Devon. It is the only belly dance festival in the UK that is held in a 3 Star hotel and has a strong reputation for its friendly & fun atmosphere, offering quality workshops from international stars and popular UK-based teachers. It was created and run for 16 years by International Teacher & Performer Afra al Kahira & John F Hancock. Although Afra & John remain on the team, from 2017 they have handed over the reins to new Group Organiser Nikki Livermore a well-respected Teacher & Performer.
