Zara Dance is an established and popular international belly dancer based in the UK & Egypt .She is a dynamic exciting dancer who is half Egyptian, she pulls on her Egyptian heritage to interpret and take the audience on a journey through the music. She currently works as a dancer in BOTH London and Cairo.

Zara is coming to you with all the fresh new moves and vibes of Cairo. She has been working almost 3 years on the Egyptian Cabaret/Night Scene, from the back streets of Cairo to 5* hotels Zara has DANCED it.
An Egyptian herself, her passion and love for this dance is second to none.
She is a great teacher and has been invited back to Celebrating Dance again and again to teach, perform and PARTY!

  • Release your Inner Egyptian- This workshop will give you hints and tips to ensure that you get an Egyptian feel to your dancing

Celebrating Dance is an annual dance festival held each October at the Toorak Hotel in Torquay, Devon. It is the only belly dance festival in the UK that is held in a 3 Star hotel and has a strong reputation for its friendly & fun atmosphere, offering quality workshops from international stars and popular UK-based teachers. It was created and run for 16 years by International Teacher & Performer Afra al Kahira & John F Hancock. Although Afra & John remain on the team, from 2017 they have handed over the reins to new Group Organiser Nikki Livermore a well-respected Teacher & Performer.
